Updates and Reminders - February 13, 2026

We had close to 80 amazing Valentine Mailbox entries on our second school-wide challenge.  Thanks to all the families who supported this additional creative project we put out for our students.  The creativity and effort put into the projects was incredible and gives a glimpse into another side of our students.  Please check out this week’s episode of News From The Nest to see the projects. Here are some additional updates and reminders: 

  • Next week we will celebrate Kindness Week (February 17th-20th).  See more information about the days of Kindness Week.
  • Oak Ridge Home & School is excited to announce Oak Ridge 2026 Rocking Lip Sync Show is on Friday, March 27th, 2026 (March 30th is the snow date) at 7:00pm in the Souderton Area High School Auditorium. See the Lip Sync Sign-ups. A committee member will reach out to confirm your registration by Wednesday, February 18th. Should you have any questions or concerns, please email to lipsyncor@gmail.com. We are looking forward to a fantastic Lip-Sync event filled with fun and excitement!
  • Home & School will host Afterschool Recs for 3rd and 4th grade students in February. Sign-up now through the links below. If you have questions about the events, please e-mail us at ASRec.ORE@gmail.com 
    • 4th grade (sign-up link Due Today!) on Tuesday, February 17th
    • 3rd grade (sign-up link) on Wednesday, February 25th
  • District families are invited to a free movie event, Screenagers.  The event will be held on Wednesday, February 18th from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Indian Valley Middle School.  Snacks will be provided. Screenagers Registration 
  • Are you ready for Amusement Park fun?  Home & School's Hersheypark Ticket Fundraiser ends on Tuesday, February 17th.  All ticket orders are placed online via zeffy. Thanks for your support!  
  • Join Home & School on Friday, February 20th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm for our Family Fun Night - Roller Skating at Inline309! Cost is $10 per skater, non-skaters are free, and is open to all students, friends, and family. We hope to see you there!
