Updates and Reminders - April 5, 2024
There have been a few questions about how we are handling the eclipse on Monday. We won’t be doing any special viewings with the kids, but teachers will be discussing the eclipse, and many will be visiting some of the websites tracking the event. If you would like to sign your child out to experience the event as a family, please just send a note in with your child on Monday. The dismissal will be excused. It would be helpful if they were signed out by 2:30 to avoid our regular dismissal process. Here are some additional updates and reminders as we head into the weekend:
- Once the weather broke the construction was able to resume. Luckily, the equipment being used is quiet enough for us to avoid changing our lunch location.
- Next week we will begin our Keystone Opportunity Soap Drive. Each school in the district is participating in helping our local Keystone Opportunity Center, which helps local families in need. See the flyer with our specific collection items.
- The 2023-2024 Oak Ridge Yearbook is for sale online only for $16. It is 92 color pages packed with memories! Don't miss out! Yearbooks can be ordered online. Sales ends April 12th, 2024.
- Looking forward to our first Career Day on Friday, April 19th.
