Updates and Reminders - September 20, 2024
We had a great week that included practicing our safety drills and reviewing safety procedures in special areas. We will start Monday by reviewing and practicing what to do in case of an emergency during lunch time. We never like to think about an emergency happening at school, but I am glad our students are prepared. Here are some additional updates and reminders:
- Home and School will be hosting their first Sundae Bar of the year on September 27th. Please look for a flyer coming home next week with more information.
- Looking ahead here are some future dates to make note of:
- Wednesday, October 2nd- Walk to School Day (Meet at 8:00am in Alderfer Park)
- Thursday, October 3rd- No School
- Friday, October 4th – Race of Champions Kick Off
- Friday, October 11th – Picture Day (Retake is Monday, November 11th)
- Monday October 14th- Act 80- No School for Students
- Friday, October 18th- Oak Ridge Race of Champions
