Updates and Reminders - October 4, 2024
We had a great Owl Time Assembly at the end of the day. We learned about our Character Trait of the month and heard about the good things happening in our school. Home and School joined us at the end to Kick Off our Race of Champions Fun Run Fund Raiser. The kids will come home today with a lanyard to register. Our goal is to have 90% of the students register tonight. Here are some additional updates and reminders:
- The Fun Run will take place on Friday, October 18th. Below is the schedule for Race Day. Parents are welcome to come and cheer on their child from the sidelines. Home and school is also looking for volunteers to help with the Fun Run. Here is a Fun Run Signup Genius if you want to get involved.
- 9:15- 5th grade
- 10:00- 2nd & 3rd grade
- 10:45- 4th grade
- 11:50- Kindergarten & 1st grade
- This Monday, October 7th is National Bully Prevention Day. We are encouraging students to wear Blue as part of our larger effort to help students understand the importance of treating each other respectfully. Mrs. Beebe has been visiting classes doing her Bullying Prevention Lessons as well.
- Please note that Home and School’s Bounce Night at Urban Air in Royersford is incorrect on our calendar. The event is next Thursday, October 10th from 5:30-8:00.
- Next Friday, October 11th is Picture Day, with retakes happening on Monday, November 11th.
- And a reminder that Monday, October 14th is an In-Service Day. No school for students this day.
