Updates and Reminders - October 11, 2024

We are halfway through our fundraiser, and we are less than $8,000.00 from our goal.  Thank you so much for your support and generosity!  A week from today is our big event.  The event times and more information are listed below, along with other updates and reminders:

  • The Fun Run will take place on Friday, October 18th.  Below is the schedule for Race Day.  Parents are welcome to come and cheer on their child from the sidelines.  Home and school is also looking for volunteers to help with the Fun Run.  See the Fun Run Signup Genius if you want to get involved.
    • 9:15 AM -    5th grade
    • 10:00 AM -  2nd & 3rd grade
    • 10:45 AM -  4th grade
    • 11:50 AM -  Kindergarten & 1st grade
    •  2:45 PM -   Mr. Ferlick’s Haircut on the playground.
  • We have close to 75% of our students registered, with our goal being 90%. We also have a weekend challenge that any student who receives a minimum donation of either $2 per minute or a $60 flat donation between now until 7am Monday, October 14th will receive a bonus prize.   
  • Next Monday, October 14th is an In-Service Day.  There is no school for students.
  • We have received a few inquiries about ways to support the victims of the recent hurricanes.  Oak Ridge will be supporting Bergey’s local efforts.  They are sending a truck to support Tennessee and North Carolina on Tuesday.  Staff & families are welcome to drop off water, diapers, baby food and formula, non-perishable food, over the counter medicine and pet food directly to Bergey’s Jeep in Souderton.  You can also drop off items at Oak Ridge on Monday until 2:00 and we will deliver it to Bergey’s Monday afternoon.  Items can be placed in our main lobby.
