Updates and Reminders - October 31, 2025

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer on our students in the parade and thanks to all the homeroom helpers who organized our socials.  It was a great day.  Here are some additional updates and reminders:

  • Tuesday, November 4th is an in-service day.  There is no school for students.
     
  • On Tuesday, November 4th Home and School is offering a Painting with a Twist event.  Information on how to sign up can be found on the Sign-up Genius.
     
  • The Student/Parent Device Agreements (acceptable use) and payment are now due.  If you have yet to turn in your form, please review, sign (with your student), and return the agreement to the main office. Payment can be made by online or check.
     
  • Home & School’s Pampered Chef Fundraiser ends today.  All Pampered Chef Fundraiser orders are due by 11:59 PM tonight.  Thank you for your support. Shopping Link
     
  • Each year, the Oak Ridge community fills bags with nonperishable food to help Oak Ridge families in need enjoy their Thanksgiving meal. Please sign up using the Thanksgiving Drive Google Form if you are able to help, thank you for your generosity!
     
  • Join us for Family Bingo Night on Friday, November 7th! This is a free event that starts at 6pm in the Oak Ridge Gym. Please also consider bringing non-perishable food items for Keystone Opportunity Center. We hope to see you there!
     
  • November 10-14 will be Kindness Week at Oak Ridge.  We will focus on kindness activities each day and end our week with a visit from a local author named Hillary Sussman.  Hillary is a physical therapist and the author of “The Adventures of Roxy” series.  “The Adventures of Roxy” series teaches acceptance, kindness, and empathy.  Here is list of our Kindness Week Activities and information about Hillary Sussman.  If you would like to order her books, please see the Author Visit information and form.
     
  • Please start saving your clothing donations in plastic bags for our Clothing Drive happening on Monday, November 24th between 9am to 12pm.
