Updates and Reminders - Nov. 10, 2023
I am overwhelmed with pride following our Veterans Day assembly. The students did such an amazing job singing, listening, and presenting. They were truly on their best “Owl” behavior! The Veterans were so thankful for the kind tribute, and many expressed how impressed they were with our students. Overall, it was a great learning experience for our students. Here are some additional updates and reminders:
- Fourth grade will be having a bake sale tomorrow, Saturday, November 11th at Walmart, from 10:00am to 2:00 pm. Proceeds go towards offsetting the cost of the Harrisburg field trip.
- Monday, November 13th is Picture Retake Day.
- Home and School will be meeting on Tuesday, November 14th in the library at 7:00. All are welcome.
- Next Friday, November 17th, Home and School is hosting a Sundae Bar. The cost is two dollars and students can order the Sundae in their homerooms on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Home and School volunteers will be serving the sundaes during lunch time next Friday.
- Conferences will be held on Monday, November 20th, Tuesday, November 21st and the morning of Wednesday, November 22nd. Invitations to sign up for conferences have gone out through your child’s teacher.
- Our Home and School is hosting a clothing drive on Monday, November 20th from 10:00 am to noon. You can drop off clothing items at the kindergarten entrance of the building.
