Updates and Reminders - November 15, 2024
We ended a great week with an Owl Time Assembly led by some of our fifth grade Wise Owls. They taught us about the various branches of the military in honor of Veterans Day. Fourth graders shared what they learned on their trip to Peace Valley Park and taught us about animals that live in Pennsylvania. Overall, it was a great assembly. Here are some additional updates and reminders:
- Next Friday, November 23rd, Home and School will be hosting another Ice Cream Sundae Bar at all lunches. The Sundaes are two dollars and should be ordered in homeroom by Wednesday, November 21st.
- A reminder that conference week is coming. Students will not have school the week of November 25th for Conferences and the Thanksgiving Holiday. During this week we put out all the lost and found items in the lobby, so please be sure to check there if your child is missing something.
- Home and School’s annual clothing drive will be held on Monday, November 25 between 9 AM and noon. We will be outside of the kindergarten entrance collecting plastic bags full of gently used clothing items, toys, and some household things. We are also collecting donations during the week of November 18 through the 22nd via a collection bin in the vestibule outside the office. A blue paper with details went home with children this week! Volunteers can sign up at the Clothing Drive Signup Genius.
- Home and School will also be hosting a Holiday Shoppe following the Thanksgiving Break. Students will visit the Shoppe with their classrooms. Look for more information to come home next week.
