Updates and Reminders - December 20, 2024
I am blessed to have so many memories from my years here at Oak Ridge that fill me with pride, and today another one was added. This year, for the first time, we ended the Holiday Sing Along with a special performance by our fifth graders singing Christmas Canon. The students did an amazing job! Thank you to the fifth-grade teachers for thinking of this idea and to the students for putting their hearts into their singing. We will be sure to share the video in the first episode of News From the Nest after the holiday, which will be January 10th . Here are a few additional updates and reminders:
- Thank you to the sixty families that filled in the Education for the Future survey after my last email. If you have not yet had a chance to do the survey, we would appreciate your participation. We are just ten surveys shy of 200!! Here is the LINK to the survey. Today is the last day to take it. Your participation is greatly appreciated!
- The students will return from winter break on Thursday, January 2nd.
- The next Home and School meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 7th at 7:00 pm in our library.
