Oak Ridge Elementary School is located in Lower Salford Township in the southern part of the Souderton Area School District. Built in 1990, we are situated on twenty acres, which includes several playgrounds, athletic fields and gardens. Our enrollment is approximately 425 students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.
Our staff is dedicated to providing a rigorous and exciting education in a nurturing environment. Our students, energetic and creative, study in a variety of places around the school: their classrooms, the Rainbow Café, computer lab, outdoor classroom, art room, general music room, gym, library, and the three large open pods which are surrounded by classrooms.
The Oak Ridge school culture reflects a caring community spirit of diligence toward learning — both in and out of the classrooms. Our students strive toward becoming good citizens and lifelong learners as they develop understandings of literature, mathematics, science, social studies, technology and the arts.
